Date of birth?

According to www.breitlingsource.com (http://www.breitlingsource.com) the DOB of Breitling watches are stamped on the bracelet. I see "S3705" on the inside link in two places. Is that it? If so, how do I read "S3705"? July 3, 2005? March 7, 2005? Just wondrin' :-)

Apparently the number etched on the bracelet is the date of producion of the bracelet is is the week number and the year. Mine says S 0205 so second week of 2005. There should be a corresponding number on the watch itself and it is apparently between the 'horns' where the bracelet attaches. I've never had my bacelet off but others have seen theirs. If you're watch was brought with the bracelet on it then the dates are likely to be similar. If you have a different bracelet or strap then you'd have to check the watch itself.

If this is right, which I am reliably informed it is, your bracelet is 35 weeks younger than mine.

Oh so the number on the bracelet is the DOB of the bracelet and not the watch? Because the number on the "horns" is different from the bracelet. Number on the horn is "894A". How do I read that? :-s

Ah, yeah, mine says 874a but I don't know what that is! The birthdate on the watch is on the watch case itself and would only be visible with the bracelet removed. I've never removed my bracelet so I've not seen it, but other membes have seen theirs. I think it's in the same week/year format as the number on the bracelet.

Lets think a moment...
The number "894A"=model number or the bracelet. The 3705= 37thweek of the year 2005.
The case date number can be view stamped into the case, "on the case" between the braclet horns. You have to demount the bracelet on the south side(6 o'clock end) and look at the case showing between the horns.
