I picked up the (1980s?) Komandirski sub below which is in very good cosmetic condition but does not run. There is some damage to the hands, but other than that it looks in good shape to me. First, can anyone tell me which movement this is?
The watch was wound up tight when I got it. I have relaesed the main spring tension, which now seems to be OK. The balance spring looks OK too. But still not running at all. And I managed to lose the tiny return spring under the manual wind-retainer (the shiny screw at about 2 o'clock on the movement picture). So question 2 - would you wait for a less nice model with a working movement to come up or sell it on now? Or do you know where I can get an old movement cheap? And is this as nice a komandirski as I think it is?
If the right answer is "No, junk it", I can live with it....
