My latest neat timepiece. Any info about it would be appreciated.
What I "know":
- guessing its from the 40's
- Day/Date in French
- Manual wind
- two tiny pushers to change date and month on the left side
- Numbers on back 1036153 and 21301
- SS Case w/ silver colored face
- 16mm from lug spacing for strap
Any expansion of knowledge greatly appreciated. Or, can anyone point me to a place where I can research.
Many thanks!

Here's some info on the company.

Maybe a picture of the movement would help in further identification.

Thank you for the link. I'll try and get a picture of the movement if I can. Here is a better picture (at least a little clearer).
Thanks again...anyone else?

Thought I'd give it another try. Can anyone point me to any info about this watch please? I'd be very grateful.

Brunner/Pfeiffer-Belli in their trilingual book show a very similar watch by Universal Geneve, also with small second at 9:00, date by subdial at 3:00, day-of-the-week near 12:00 and month at 6:00. The wathc is not absolutely identical, however - for one thing, it has all even numbers on the dial, not just 6:00 and 12:00. The legend reads: "Steel calendar watch, 1940s, 13''' lever movement, 17j, Breguet spring"
I cannot say whether Universal got the movement from somewhere else or whether they did a modular construction on one of their own handwound movements. You would have to open it up and show us the movements for that. Ranfft in his extensive database does not list an explicit UG calibre with full calendar functions so that they may well have got this one from somewhere else.

THANK YOU! I appreciate your reply. I'll see if I can follow those thoughts further.
