Kobold in the movies/novels

I know Kobold is a relatively new company (1999), but does anyone know if Kobold has been shown in the movies or mentioned in a novel???

If not I would assume it would be a matter of time.

I think that Jack Bauer wore a Rolex Sub 14060 no date in the first season or two. Perhaps he wore a Phantom in season three? In any event, he is know wearing a "SpecialOps" watch so he's gone downmarket ;-)

Bauer wore the Phantom in Season 4. He had the Submariner in Season 1, I think. Not sure what he used for Days 2 and 3, though!:-)

What about James Gandolfini? Has he worn a SEAL in any episode of "The Sopranos"? He was wearing a Rolex (I think) the other night. I figured that since he's such a big fan maybe he'd give Kobold some free publicity.
