That is a modified Unitas/ETA movement. Panerai uses the unitas 6497/8 movement but reconfigures the bridges and adds a swan neck regulator. Most fakes just feature the usual old unitas movement and regulator, but some of the fakers are getting quite good and are replicating Paneria's bridge/reg structure also - it is getting more difficult to spot the fakes.

That's actually a modified Unitas Chinese copy. Some of these fake makers are getting quite sophticated. They now call them "replica watches." :-|
