That sure is a beauty! Any thoughts or impressions of it? Also, is the bezel one directional, or does it rotate in both directions? Thanks!

Thanks! The bezel moves in one direction only.
I am impressed with Debaufre actually. It is has fantastic fit and finish. The weight is nice. It keeps good time. I have noticed that it gets very fast on the winder though. On the wrist, it's as accurate as my Breitlings, Glycine, Rolex, etc. That is--I don't notice it so it must be pretty good. I have a couple of watches that require a settings change after a few days of off and on wear. This watch does not.
No scientific measurements but the real world test is good!

Outstanding - good to know Debaufre can keep up with the Rolex's and Breitlings... ;)

Sarcasm noted. I should be clear I guess--it's no Rolex or Breitling. It's lighter, the bracelet is rougher, and there are some flaws that are noticeable. I see some dust under the crystal. It does keep good time. Like I said before, it doesn't require changing the settings very often and that is a good thing!
When comparing other brands in this price range, it rises above others that I have owned or considered.
One final thought: I have sent in a Rolex and a Breitling for service within the first few weeks of ownership. I haven't sent back the Debaufre, yet. I guess they all can have issues.

Actually I was being mostly serious - while no one, including Debaufre, is putting them in the same category in the absolute sense, I would agree that the value of quality versus cost is so high on the Debaufre it is hard to pass up...since I will probably never be able to afford a Rolex, I will enjoy my Debaufres!!

Fine looking watch. I've got one identical to yours except it sports the prior name.

How is the lume?
It's adequate, but not great.

I was going to say the same. It is pretty bright for about 5 minutes and then falls off rapidly after that.

It's true, it doesn't shine like a Seiko but it will remain visible in darkness for a few hours.

The earlier Steinhart GMT were bi-directional, I wonder why the decison to make it un-directional was made.
Thanks! The bezel moves in one direction only.
