I'm currently looking at buying a 20mm pilot bracelet for my crosswind chrono cockpit. I have found one which looks genuine - selling for about 600 euros. Comparing it to my existing bracelet it looks the same except there are some differences on the links at and near the lug.

(Sorry dont know how to make the picture bigger)

My current bracelet does not have "chrono/duo" engraved on the link across the lug and has "358A" engraved on the link nearest the lug on the left hand side as you look at the picture.

I'm not too familiar with ebay but it says that the bracelet is "100% genuine Breitling" however also that "PayPal buyer protection does not apply to this item."

What do you guys think, real or fake?

Hello,

The bracelet looks to be genuine but it may not fit your watch. Breitling tailors the bracelet to suit the case as they are manufactured in house. You will see many very similar bracelets but suited to one model or another even within the same year of production. In this case "chrono/duo" refers to the models this bracelet is best suited to. It may fit others but will fit the ones mentioned perfectly. Without more information its very hard to guide you on exactly which bracelet would suit your watch. It may be worth you while to visit your dealer and get him to look up the details for you. Then you can go armed with exactly what you should look for.
