What is REALLY affordable?

I'd like to propose that we begin a new theme forum all of its own: The "What is REALLY Affordable" theme forum. That way we can focus like a laser on the question at hand without distraction.

Should it be 'really affordable' or just 'affordable', you don't want people to think the new forum was designed so only affordable or really affordable people could come to discus either affordable or really affordable.

It is true KenC that we need that as well. Additionally I'm sure everyone will agree that we need the ACTUALLY REALLY, INCREDIBLY, SUPER AFFORDABLE forum. I hate to have to point this out :rodekaart, but those need to be their own theme forums as well, rather than being instead of my REALLY Affordable theme forum. That's the whole point here. We've got to stop mixing these up. They are completely different categories.

well why not just call it the cheap skate forum? or the I'm so cheap I'm still on dial-up forum? you could even group them all together and call it the walmart forum. nothing over the cost of whats on display. some of these guys buy less expensive watches while saving up for there 1st grail watch. What a place to see a cross section of every watch. I'll bet more watches get bought from people who look here for the bargains than anywhere else.
there are members who won't go over a 100 bucks and find some fantastic watches that when new cost at least 500 or more. So why is this the affordables forum? everyone can play here with no bias on a particular watch or the x vs y fights that break out daily on other forums.

I could moderate that forum Sean. I'm so cheap I've actually stopped in the middle of the road and knelt down to dig a penny out of the asphalt with a dirty popsicle stick. I'm so cheap I unplug my electric clock at night and reset it in the morning. I'm so cheap I peel the foil off gum wrappers to take to the recycle center. I'm so cheap I make Scrooge look like a drunk sailor with a months pay turned loose in the PI. I can do this all night. Let me just pop into the kitchen for a minute. I think I can get a 3rd pot of coffee out of this mornings grounds and I'll be right back. :-d

One thing's sure, we'll never put some hokey arbitrary price limit on watches posted here.
No one snobs on cheapies posted here and likewise no one ought b**ch when one of us go large.
It might not make sense to newcomers but like the Borg, we'll assimilate them.
