The watch looks ok, be sure that pappers match up.
Not familiar into prices of two-tones.
Sorry about the Colt. Did you wind it manually 30-35 times when you got it? Hope that you knew that that watch was automatic and needs to be worn for keeping it going or wound by hand if it sits on the table for more than cca 40 hrs.
Crosswind is also automatic and needs the same procedure.
Sorry if I underestimated your knowledge and gave you the info which you allready know.

The listing says it is a certified chronometre. It is not COSC. The 13050 model was not certified, if it were there would be a 3 in place of the middle 0.
Price strikes me as a bit high at $4810usd, for a 10yr old piece.
here's an ebay action you might want to follow. of course this guy is showing a non-COSC watch on a COSC certificate. These sellers seem to have a problem with certification.

I think back in 1998 after discounts you could have picked up the watch new for that price. (I can check my chronologs later)
Are they willing to deal?
When was it last serviced?

Chronolog3 - 1998-1999
This model was #792 on p84
List price NEW was $5500
in 1998 a 25% discount was fairly commo = $1375
Cost new= $4125
Chronolog08
model # 173 p54 list $8075
20% discount $1615
Cost $6460 for the current model w/ 2yr Breitling warranty
If it were me I'd push for 25% on the 1998 model if I were to go for it. That would bring it down to $3630usd.
I would also ask for an explanation on their calling it CERTIFIED as it obviously is not ( the new one is). You can use that point to your advantage in negotiating. What else might they be misrepresenting on the watch? Are you getting my drift here? Hammer them.
I would also try to get them to throw in a Croco or Leather (chocolate or black) strap, Breitling leaves samples for dealers, they can usually part with one easily.
Good luck

Since the year 2000, all new "B"s have had the COSC rating.
This is indicated by a 3 in the middle position of the model #
I indicates that the watch is certified to run at no worse than -4/+6 seconds/day.

Hi Bnewbie, any thoughts on the Super avenger please???....Dave.
Hi David, SA is one big, serious chunk of steel. Not for people with small wrists. It's Breitling 13 Caliber, most common and reliable ˝B˝ chrono movement, just like in Crosswind. It's 48,40mm in diameter, 18,60mm thick and weight 153,30gr without the bracelet or the strap. It comes in black, blue and white dial. Nice watch, but just not my cup of tea (too big for my wrist). Hope this helps. Cheers
