Greetings,

Sorry for not getting back to everyone's emails, but I have been very busy with other aspects of the company. Thank you for your understanding.

Now there are 3 left of the OE. I am still awaiting 2 checks from customers, so if I don't receive them, there will be 5 left. That is the reason why we haven't updated the website for the remaining 3.

I have gotten numerous emails from people who want to buy the remaining.

I would like some feedback from you on what to do?

- Should I update the stock level to 3, and he who comes first gets them?
- Some kind of lottery?
-?

I get about 25-50 emails a day, so I apologize for not getting back to you with answers. All emails I receive will be answered.

I hope everyone is having a great day.

Best regards,

Poul

Update it.......and "first come, first serve", IMO.

Tragic

It's really unfortunate that the website was messed up right at "crunchtime" otherwise there wouldn't be this problem. Please allow Poul time to sort this out and trust that it will be handled as fairly as possible. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

Hi Poul,
You're finding yourself in a tough business spot. I am in business also. Here is my take :
honesty is everything.
What I mean is the following : when you started the Korsbek Watch company, it wasn't a done deal. Yet, a lot of people put their trust in you and came forward with their money.
By now, lucky guy, you ought to know the entire 100 watches are going to sell no matter what.
There are some guys who for whatever reasons don't have access to a credit card. So they will write you a check. It is a slower process, but one you would have been happy to follow at the very beginning when things were going slow. So, take their order and wait 1 week. I think it is fair.
If you don't get their checks, release these watches on the website and I guaranty you they will be sold in a matter of minutes.
To me, cash in hand should never take over one's previous agreement. Put out there are still 3 for sale, and wait to see what happens to these two extra ones.
Anyway, congratulations for your entire enterprise

It's a business - first come first serve. Only update the reserved units when payment is made and cleared. The OE has been available since Christmas, so last minute shoppers beware.

Same holds true for the final payment. If it is not made in time, the deposit is lost and next in line on the reserve list gets that slot.

I totally agree......if you agreed upon check payment, then it must be honored but also within a reasonable amount of time. If "the check is in the mail" then there should be no real issues. As mentioned, update 3 remaining on a "first come, first serve" basis and give it a week for the 2 checks to come in and if not...then make them available again. However, I don't know of anyone personally that buys a $900 watch and doesn't have a credit card .

Hi DaveB,
What is your # ?

Lucky number 7 ordered on 12/26. I had Poul change this to a SS Bezel

I also picked up another one, 59, with the black bezel. Poul quoted the possible cost of an additional bezel and it was a better deal to purchase another watch. I really don't like taking away the opportunity for another person to own an OE. However, I do own duplicate watches. My daily wear is a vintage dive watch, I have another of the same model that was restored (including a new case) and a third one that is in pieces waiting for me to rebuild the movement and finish the case restoration. Actually I restored one watch for my wife to wear who laughed when I tried to give it to her. Giving her a dive watch was like giving her power tools. Not a good idea. The OE's are clearly for me.

All I know is, I would buy one (of the 3) now if I could, but my shopping cart comes up empty each time?? Tried last night, tried now.
Anyway, I suspect this will be a chance missed - I am about to get in the car to go away for the weekend, so I guess my bad luck.
Shame really.
Enjoy 'em who gets 'em.

I agree with this 100%. You have to give these people a chance to pay. But like other have said if it doesn't show up......SORRY ABOUT YOUR LUCK!!!

I didn't fully pay for my two because why pay the credit card interest for an extra month or two if I don't have the watch?

But trust me the day Poul asks for the money it will be paid for in full.:-!

Poul,

Do as you see fit. This is your watch company, and like another poster stated they had a few months to reserve them. I like some was on the fence for a while but jumped off a few weeks ago, and man can I say I am not looking back. For those of us that get them we are definitely part of an ELITE CLUB. :-!

#73 of 100 will be landing in Philly and I can’t wait. :-d

Take care

Hi Timelord,

Actually, there are now 4 left. My father was so kind to give up his OE.
I am now going through all my emails, to see who asked for an OE first after the website maintenance/updating.

I am still waiting for the other 2 customers check, so maybe there will be 6 left of the OE.

This weekend I should have everything in order. I will keep you and everyone else updated.

Thank you for you understanding.

Best regards,

Poul

2 suggestions: link at the top of the page goes to https://www.korbsek.com... it should be https://korbsek.com...

And I'd also suggest that you change "out of stock" with SOLD OUT sign... this will speak volume about trust that folks have in your product.

Just my 0.02 cents for what it's worth...

P.S.

Hoping to get lucky and get e-mail from Paul this weekend stating that he has one for me.... hey, one can always hope... ;-):-d

Greetings,

I have received both checks from the customers. Plus my father was so kind to give up his OE, so one of you could get one.

The 3 OE's will go to the people that emailed me first after the update on my website. I will also create a waiting list, in case some customers don't pay the remaining balance.

So this weekend I will go through all my emails, please have patience. Thank you for your understanding.

Poul

I think the idea of a waiting list for those who say they want one and are waiting to see if everyone pays up the remaining $600 is a really sound idea. Plus it's a good business practice for you. :-!

Good idea!

I've already got #82 in SS reserved and I'd like to go on the waiting list for any number with a Black bezel.
