Hard to tell if it's been pulled but I doubt it as it would be hard to put the antenna back in. I can see that the plastic "o-ring" is gone but sometimes they just break off. Why don't you ask the seller to confirm it for you and guaranty it?

Oh, its ok. I've got one on order from an AD. Just a question what people thought about it, in a moment of boredom! I know that some watches on Ebay have been activated and then had the antenna cut and the cap screwed back on.

I doubt any real ones have been activated and are floating around. There would be many "issues" involved if it were. Breitling would be notified and want it back. The owner would get a new one as it can only be used once.

So once you use it you have to replace the watch? And Breitling gives you a new one for free?

EDIT: although I suppose you may just be talking about the antenna?

Breitling wouldn't necessarily know if it was activated, as the batteries are separate from the watch, and the signal wouldn't necessarily be picked up anyway. So, the watch would still work, and if you set it off by accident, and then cut it and put it back together, you could still sell it without anyone knowing. I'm not suggesing this seller is doing that, just that I'd heard this was sometimes common with Ebay Es, and it was something to really watch out for. Just wondering if anyone had any more experience with this?

I don't know about the E but on the EM, it's Second Totaliser spins around rapidly to show that the Transmitter has been activated, I'm assuming the E shows activations in some way too.
What it looks like to me is the little grey seal has broken off, this has happened to a couple of guys I've spoken to and certainly doesn't mean it's been activated.
Hope this helps,

Best wishes,

Verner

Ah, fair enough. It was just a friend explaining to me the perils of ebay! I have just stuck to the AD. I was in today, and they said it'll be ten days.
