I've been dying to get a Seiko SKX007 with the oyster bracelet for the longest time but can't find them anywhere. I've seen a few on ebay but the sellers do not have very good feedback.

I own a Seiko SNA225 with oyster bracelet that I replaced with a nato band. I was looking at the 007's oyster bracelet online and it looks almost identical to the SNA225's so I was wondering if I could buy a 007 with rubber strap off ebay and use the 225's bracelet on it.

Does anyone own both of these watches, and can they tell me if the lug width/ fit and finish are the same on both bracelets? Will this look stock?

Thanks,
Billie

I think that the SNA225 has a lug width of 20mm, but the 007 has one of 22mm so it won't fit <|

Have a nice day,

Adanac is right - it won't fit. Check out www.chronograph.com (http://www.chronograph.com/) under Seiko accessories and you will find a 22mm oyster bracelet. Good luck.

Another update: I just found it on chronograph.com - it is listed as a bracelet for the SKX009 under Seiko accessories - here is the pic:

I am not sure if the bracelet will fit, but the lug size on SNA225 is 22mm not 20.

That's the last time I listen to Adanac! :-D MadBrdr is right - it is 22mm. I would be suprised if the bracelets were different in that case. The feet might be of a different shape but why not try it out and see if it works?

If you want the best :-! oyster bracelet for a SKX 007, 173, 171 or whatever model. Go to www.easternwatch.com (http://www.easternwatch.com).

Solid link bracelet with screwed links (no pushpins), fliplock with security clasp and 2 release buttons, diver extension and fine adjustment. Unfortunately no solid end links and can't take fat spring bars.

Too late for the thread, but for anyone is looking, I bought mine from

www.tungchoywatch.com

look for the 22mm curve end.
However, although it has engraved "Seiko" on the clasp, I was told this is not from Seiko, and the comments is varied, some said it's better than Seiko's own oyster, some said it's just ok. I like mine :)
