I seriously doubt it
I suspect the crystal is secured to the case by an adhesive, especially since the bezel is said to be easily changed

Thanks. But why would the bezel be difficult to change if it was held with a screwed retainer?

In the engineering drawing there is no evidence of a threaded retainer. Also this watch has an automatic He valve and you typically don't find, or need, a threaded retainer on a watch with an auto valve.

Seiko uses the theaded retainer design but has no He valve on it's saturation divers.

Alphonse

I appreciate the reponse Alphonse. It's a good point you made...thanks for lecturing me :-).

Of course with no He-valve some pressure build up will occur inside the caes, but I have read that according to a study done by Seiko, where the watch was exposed to helium under pressure for a prolonged period of time pressure increased only by a very small amount.

Thanks again my friend

Most crystals are press-fit, if I'm not mistaken.

Hi Ty,

You are correct :-)

I don't know of any diver watches that Fricker makes that are screwed down.
