at a great price. I was really surprised when I checked out the forum as usual and found those pics ;-).

I found some things that really appealed to me much more than the OE in the picture, there are a very few minor things that I would change but all in all a great watch. These are listed below:

What I Really...Really like:

1) Crown - 'fatter' (or thicker) with more grasp, meaner looking and with the very nice black K logo

2) Hands - Very tool like and also 'fatter'

3) Bezel pip - fully lumed triangle which IMHO looks much more professional and tool like and fits the watch really nicely.

What I would change:

1) Black second hand base to make is stealthier and appear floating

2)Smaller font for the Text ' OCEAN EXPLORER ' . I would leave Korsbek and 1000m as is. I think the dial would look cleaner IMO.

I do not mean to offend anyone and these are only my opinions for my perfect OE. It is also great as is.

Thanks

Cheers from Malta, Etienne

The watch is already in production, so any design changes are not going to happen. These comments would have been better six months ago when Poul was soliciting design variations.

I'm sure there will be a "I want this and I want that" thread on the upcoming Oceaneer though.

Cannot wait for my OE to be delivered!

Ummmm, how could those comments have been made 6 months ago when the drawing shows the stem of the seconds hand as black and a smaller font on "ocean explorer"? he isn't suggesting "changes" as you say - he is suggesting "no changes" to what was shown in the drawing.

it looks to me like the seconds hand just isn't finished. have you ever seen that nude color on a watch hand before?

Hi Etienne,

Thank you for your feedback and kind words :-)

The second hand base hopefully will be changed to black. Now it is a greyish/black color. I will know shortly from the supplier.

Best regards,

Hi Poul,

Thanks a lot for your kind reply...I really appreciate and already like this brand a lot ;-). I sincerely think that if you continue like this Korsbek will be a big hit in the watch market.

See Poul....now I told a few more kind words...so...how much discount will I get when I order the New Recon GMT ;-) ?!

Just pulling your leg Poul...seriously keep it up

Chhers from Malta, Etienne
