I thought I had decided ... I was about to buy a Lagunare 1000 LE ref: 3859
Now I am having doubts .... I think I prefer the original black dial Lagunare ref: 3819.19T :-S
Decisions decisions :-D

John, you may have read about my own Glycine dilemma. On Tuesday, I opened the box and there was an original black dial Lagunare instead of the L.E. I specified. Handsome, yes, but I knew instantly I needed that orange minute hand (and will additionally accept what looks like a non-textured dial). But it's all a matter of personal aesthetics, really.
There are some wonderful high-resolution (and gigantic) photos of the L.E. in the Media section of the Glycine website:

I'm still trying to straighten out the AD whose sales rep knew nothing about the brand and the model and sent the wrong watch and has alread charged my AmEx card. That rep last evening, in explaining what their "watch man" had found out, said that all pieces are "allocated" (but he had no idea what that meant).
I believe XTrooper usefully suggested a while back that I take a look at SVS Intertrade, and I will do so this week. The return policy bothers me a little, and I don't yet know if a purchase from them would include a warranty that I could use here in the U.S. I can also call some of the other US ADs.
But whichever you choose, I think you'll have no regrets.

FWIW, warranty coverage shouldn't be an issue. You get a stamped and serial numbered international warranty card from SVS Intertrade. Also, Robin Ramlagan, the After Sales Service Manager for Glycine here in the US is a very nice and very accomodating person. I had my Glycine for only a day or two and snapped a screw head off one of the screws when I was changing straps. Anyway, Robin had a new screw express delivered to me the next day at no charge. |>

Trooper, I chuckle every time I see you type "FWIW". It's always worth a great deal! Thanks. --redstart
