My trusty TT1 Day Date stopped working last weekend after only 4 years of use. Looking at the back of the watch shows a small chip in the glass window and you can see the actual chipped glass floating around the mechanism :-|
Has anyone else had this problem and if so what did they do to get their watch fixed. The odd thing about this is that I was wearing the watch at the point it went wrong so can't understand what could have happened.
Maybe, the glass got chipped by the strap a day or two earlier then the glass fragments fell into the mech at a later date.
I'm gutted, as I love the watch but am unimpressed that there is a weak link created by the useless window on the back...
Any info on my problem or links to Oris repair centres in the UK would be greatly appreciated.
