The Auricoste is an ETA 2824
The Squale is an ETA 2873

The Squale is a "sister" to the Blancpain fifty fathom bund :

Now THAT is a really nice, "old school" diving watch! It looks absolutely fantastic! The frogman logo on the dial is cool too! B-)

Love it, JM! Thanks for sharing! :-!

P.S.- Could you tell me the diameter of its case? Thanks! ;-)

Thanks for your comment

The frogman on the dial is a part of "La Spirotechnique" logo :

The diameter of both watches are 41,5 mm : quiet large for vintages

The depth rating of the Auricoste is 200 meters , and 1000 meters for the Squale

Yes, quite unusual and a very desirable feature in my book! |>

If there was one thing I could change on my vintage Zodiac Sea Wolf, it would be to make the case a bit larger.

Love the Spriotechniques - beautiful vintage watches! I have the Tag Heuer version, myself, would love to pick up the Squale, Auricoste, and Doxa versions!

Too bad it's quartz, not working and in a not so desirable case.
Might be interesting for a completist.
I think it's already overpriced...only my opinion.
