Well...its over! No more pencils, no more books. I'm done with school (until grad school that is ;-))!
I graduated from the University of Georgia on May 10th.
Bachelor of Business Administration-Finance with Cum Laude honors no less! Haha, not bad for a WIS right? :-d
It was a great ceremony. Our speaker was Justice Thomas. As in Clarence Thomas the supreme court Justice. He was a very moving and inspirational speaker. |>
On Monday the 12th my girlfriend and I left for Fernandina Beach Florida where we have since. We're coming back to GA this Friday!
Her graduation gift to me was a fossil hunt down in the Peace River in Southwest Florida. It was AWESOME! We found tons of fossils, including three meg teeth and two almost complete juvenile Mammoth teeth.

Just wanted to share whats been going on lately and why I have been posting as much. I have had limited access to the internet down here at the condo, but evidently someone just unlocked their wireless access around here so I've been "borrrowing" it. b-)
Graduation pics!

Im down there in the front left with the other Terry business school grads. There were ~3500 graduating that day.

Here's my family. Thats my little sister on the left, shes 17 and a junior in highschool. She'll be attending college soon, not sure where yet!

Here's the only decent pic I could find with a watch in it! haha. This is the diploma frame that my parents bought me. Hopefully my diploma will be in it soon! They take about 4-6 weeks to get mailed out after graduation.
Other good news: I should actually start making money soon! haha. I have one offer on table as of yet, another coming in next week and a few more interviews coming up as well. I'll let you know what happens and what route I decide to take. This is an exciting time!:-!
Thanks for looking!

Big congrats!! Now the real work begins. It's just like school, except now some inept maroon in a managerial position is barking non-sensical orders at you and handing out unreasonable completion dates. Problem is you can't tell him to pound sand because your livelihood is based on him not firing you....so yeah, almosy exactly like school.

Well done, buddy. You should be proud. You've always seemed to have your head on straight, and I'm sure you'll do well.
By the way, how much did you have to pay that cute girl to pose for that photo with you? Money well spent ;-)

Congratulations Nick. It must be great to finally be done with school (or at least for now). So which Omega will you get to remeber this occasion?
-Ben
Congratulations, Nick! To be honest, I wouldn't go back if I had the chance. I prefer the "real world", despite all of its ups and downs. Happy job hunting! Sky's the limit, buddy.

Thanks for all of the comments!
I really appreciate all of your kind words.
I do think I am going to pick up another Omega to celebrate. Something that I can keep forever...perhaps a Speedy Pro or another X-33? We'll see, it will likely be one of those two though!
Thanks again fellas!

Congrats Nick. I noticed your GF and sister had on similar dresses. Was there a throw down and mud wrestling match when they saw each other. ;-)
I have had limited access to the internet down here at the condo, but evidently someone just unlocked their wireless access around here so I've been "borrrowing" it. b-)
Gee Nick, if you had majored in Pre-Law instead of Business you would know that theft of internet services is a crime and you just gave a confession. :-d:-d:-d. Congrats man, it's great to be done. Enjoy your vacation. You can turn yourself in when you get back. - David

A milestone in life, now on to the next chapter. Best wishes for
a wonderful life. There will be a few jobs and many women but no
one can take that education from you. It will always be a part of
you. Now go get a job and quit freeloading. Bet your parents are
glad to be rid of you.
Many, many best wishes Nick!!!

Congratulations and blessings to you, Nick!
I don't guess we'll see you waiting tables at the OG will we?
And BTW, you need a Speedy Pro to commemorate this event. It will be a lasting memorial.
