I have just ordered an SST06 Ref:3856.106 / 66-1
This is a true 24 with the traditional SST colours and a steel bracelet
Fingers crossed that Glycine will do me a 66-1 true 24 in reasonable time :-)

Great John! That's EXACTLY what I ordered. I have not heard when mine may arrive but I'll let you know.
I ordered mine with bracelet.
It's going to be a GREAT watch. If you get your first please post pics.
I might as well say this here....Why I like the SST so much....
I've owned a couple vintage SST's and I love their practical functionality and good looks, but I also loved the fact that they were made in such an optimistic era; when supersonic transports from various manufacturers were soon to be competing and whizzing passengers all over the globe.
It was to be a new era in high speed, Earth-shrinking flight.
Of course, it didn't happen quite like that, and today we have NO supersonic airliners (amazing!).
Still, the watch design represents that wonderful era when anything could be done, inlcuding multiple trips to the moon. If you could dream it you could do it. Those are the types of thoughts that would pop into my head when wearing an SST.
The new SST-06 incorporates all those great design features and looks into a modern watch with modern materials. I can't wait.

Great minds think alike Dennis. I guess we are getting them from the same source as well :-)
Congratulations Martin, the degradé dial looks very nice :-!
Get in touch with Glycine, they converted an Airman 8 I used to own for about £35 as I recall :-)
