Bit of a cold snap here in coastal South Carolina. Only 68F today. No, I'm not rubbing it in. Cheers, Bob

It was 3 degrees F here in Detroit when I got up, I think it's up to around 12 or so. Of course the wind chill is still below zero. This is the coldest we've seen here this winter which is odd, it's been a very mild winter here for us. Actually January was the warmest on record since 1880. I just wish we had some snow on the ground to go along with the cold.....!

You wanna see chilli, Today at noon, -20 celsius with a wind chill of -32 celsius. A very cold wind. I have to blow the driveway sometime...

This is a warning that extreme wind chill conditions are imminent or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.



Snowsqualls developing over Lake Superior will drift inland this evening and tonight. Very low visibilities in snowsqualls are expected with local snow amounts of 15 centimetres or more.

With the very cold Arctic air entrenched over the area. Windchill values between minus 40 to 50 will return tonight and early Saturday morning to most of Northern Ontario.

Feel a lot warmer after seeing your thermometer, Matt. It was only -21 C (-5 F) here in Almonte this morning.
It got all the way up to -18 (0 F) by noon.

"The coldest winter I experienced was summer in Canada"!

I will never forget going to fish camp in the Chapleau Game Preserve a few years ago and waking up to snow - on June 1st! :-D
