Does the mark II wear significantly bigger than the moon watch (or the 42mm PO)? Please say yes as it will save me a lot of money if I don't buy it

Dialface isn't much bigger, if at all, but the case is. Its pretty much a hunk. Fits pretty well on the wrist though.

The mark II wears somewhat larger than a regular speedmaster due to the face that the case is suqarer and is much heavier. For folks that like the PO it's a great watch.
When I wear my moonwatch, it's like a breath of fresh air since it's so much lighter than the heavy watches (mkII included) that I seem to prefer.

Thanks Ksanders. What size wrist do you have? I know Jim has those unfeasibly large wrists so his don't count. (Thanks Jim for your reply BTW)

Snak has a Mark II and a 3570.50 Speedy. I have a 6.6" wrist. The Mark II is a heavier case. It wears heavier and sits taller even though the 3570 has a larger bezel.

Wow Snak. That's service for you. I love this forum, though my financial advisor might not agree :-x
One final question for the Snak. Does the Speedy Mark II with racing dial rock?

On the racing dial were the chrono hands always orange (not white)? One of the Mark IIs I am looking at has white chrono hands.

The chrono hands should be orange and the time hands should be white.
Personally I'd get the MKII. I have slimmish 7" wrists and I find my MKII more comfortable that my Moon Speedy.

And they definitely rock b-).

Thanks Gary. I have the Moon Speedy. In fact I am wearing it as I type. No probs with the size.
That is a very nice watch BTW. Is it a refurb?

It had a full service at Bienne last March. Some before and after photo's here:

If you need any more info just yell.
Cheers,
Gary
P.S. Sorry I assumed you were deliberating between the MKII and SpMP .
