It was only a matter of time before I had the right watch that just had to be treated to one of Toshi's finest straps... top man came up trumps with this black number with white stitching, they really are as awesome as everyone says they are :-!

This is a bit of a moody shot, desaturated save for the chrono seconds tip:

Had a slightly different one made for the Emergency as well... hopefully it will work really well, pics to follow soon!

i think a little more explanation would have been nice. for example, what is it that excites you about this combination?

candidly, i think the watch would look nice on a blue rubber bracelet. i believe breitling have recently brought out a new and improved one too!

I see many pictures posted on this forum with NO explanation at all... so your comment seems a little off IMO.

This is a strange place today

no no, it's ok... your all too stunned to comment, happened to me once :-dHI, Jon. I'll comment. I like it but I don't love it... The strap, not the CA. The CA and its replacement (?) AS are two of the nicest and arguably most iconic pieces made IMO. Gotta love the style, detail and build cuz we're talkin' first class... ;-) :-! The strap looks nice but a bit bulky on the buckle end especially with only one tongue loop. The strap seems to "shrink" the case of the watch to a smaller and less imposing presence whereas the standard 22-20 OEM black calf is perfectly sized and matched to the CA at least IMHO. :-) So there you have it... So there... So cheers, mate! ;-):-)
Ron

PS. I'm feeling a little strange today... :-) LOL

I'm not being arsey, I'm being inquisitive - I like the strap, although I take Ron's point about it being big and 'reducing' the watch, but I've never heard of 'Toshi' (I'm not into buying extra straps and stuff), what makes his straps so good? Look, comfort, fit, quality of hide?

Like the b&w shot btw - highlights the crisp design of the face.

Sorry, Jon, I'm underwhelmed. But, if you like it that's all that matters. Wear it in good health.

Love the Avenger, straps looks good too, but I really really like your pics, from my point of view (trying harder to take better pics myself) I like the way the pics look, very nice.

i thought this might help to illicit some interest in your thread. i'll just add that it's difficult to see from your photos whether the dial is black or blue. possibly the blue ting is AR.
