I was answering a question and decided to collect all the variants of the Seiko knight series into a single post. Unlike some have suggested, to the best of my knowledge there are no limited editions of any of the watches in the Knight series, though some models are considerably harder to find than others. Here are all the models:

AUTOMATIC MODELS

The SKXA47, "White Knight":

The SKXA49 "Black Knight":

The SKXA51 "Orange Knight" (a US market version of this watch is also sold under the model number SKXA61 - it is physically identical to the SKXA51):

QUARTZ MODELS

The SHC053 "Quartz White Knight":

If anyone knows of any other variants which I might be missing, please let me know so that I can add them to the list.

What's the spec on this watch, jewel count, beat frequency, screw down crown or not? Thanks

Here is an in depth review of the movement in this watch:

The watch is an ISO rated diver (so yes the crown screws down). If you want to know what the minimum ISO dive watch specs are have a look in this very archive, here:

This is for Angelo, the "Knight Master". It's now official!! the weight of a BNIB (un-altered with all links and pins & collars installed) Seiko Knight is 186.52 grams. Now we can put that to rest, Certified by me, Dan :-!

--------------

EDIT by Isthmus: The weight mentioned is for the automatic variants

Well I guess I'm in good company now, and I only collect or should I say own automatic watches, All my Seiko Knights are of the 7s26 calibre. and obviously are automatic, The Knight series comes in other variants also as Gabe has pointed out in a previous post, These are discontinued now and are few and far between. I was lucky and found mine BNIB over a 6 month time period, I have the 3 auto variants to show you, and all are ISO Rated 200m rated Dive watches. The last year these were made was 2006, Any new ones out there are NOS, they retailed for about 150 bucks back then. Not the case now, 200 is more accurate for new or mint. The band is integral and the only one that had the rubber strap was in orange and it was an asian version SKXA51, The North American Version is Orange with a SS bracelet and is SKXA61. The Black Knight is on bracelet SKXA49, as is the White Knight SKXA49. They are very decieving in the heft of these watches, they are in stock forms heavier than the monster series with bracelet by about 5 or 6 grams. They lay flatter on the wrist as well, primarily to the case curvature. Keep you eyes open for one of these in any color, you won't be dissapointed......Dan

The White Knights are really smart. I have been trying to find somewhere that sells them in the UK to see how much they go for. I haven't been able to find them anywhere untill tonight. I have found a site that has 3 in stock. But they are £224.12!!! Too expensive for me.

Mostly because they are discontinued, check the sales forum, they pop up for about 200usd which is 60% less than the price in the UK. If thats too expensive another series might be in your better interest.
