Hello All!

Been reading for awhile & decided it's time to join! About 8 years ago I bought an Airman 2000 with a blue dial from Werner Siegrist after seeing his advertisements in a pilot magazine. I loved the watch as it was bigger & higher quality than the typical department store watches I had previously owned.

About 6 months ago, I decided to upgrade. I searched high & low for my "dream watch". I wanted a big, heavy chronograph. I had previously admired some Breitlings. As fate would have it, after months of searching the internet & jewelry stores, I came back to Glycine and bought the Airman 9, also in a blue dial, again from Werner!

Guys, I really love this watch. I'm wondering if anyone else here has a "9". I've read some opinions in the past that it's overpriced and not an actual "tool" watch (because of the placement of the hour chrono indicator). And yes, it is pricey but Werner's price was considerably less than the MSRP, and he's a pleasure to deal with.

So I guess now I'm a collector! Future watches may be a Lagunare LE and I'm also looking at maybe an Oris Flight Timer & BC-3.

I'll post some pictures shortly with various straps.
