Schauer DayDate 2836 GL42

a "UVox" Review made by Andreas Ulbrich

it's a long time ago (more than one year) since i wrote my last Review. :-)

THE WATCH

the CASE

the case Dimenions are 42 mm (Diameter without Crown) and 11,35mm height. the Lug-size is 22mm.

the Case finish is made absolute wonderful and the best that i have in my collection,
Jörg Schauer says that he rework every part of his Watches to offer the best quality, i think these are true Words. :-)

the DIAL

the Dial is simple black with a little glitter which makes a absolute first-class look.
the Dial Design is very simple nearly Spartanic,
like the Design from the complete Schauer collection it looks clear and is easy to read.

the DayDate Display is made in Black letters/Nummerals on a Silver ground
which makes a very nice and good to read look.

the HANDS

the Pilot Watch Hands are in a excellent steel finish
and painted with lume which let it shine like hell.

the MOVEMENT

the DayDate is powered by a ETA 2836 (25 Jewels) Movement in a high class Finish with adornment and blued screws,
the Rotor is decorated with five holes and a Schauer writing in gold.

the STRAPS

the Schauer DayDate 2836 came with a Leather strap by default,

there are many good looking variations for the DayDate,
like a rubber Strap or the Schauer Artus/Kubus Bracelet.

the BOX

the Schauer Watch came in a very nice Black Wood Box
which gave the Watch the right frame for his class.

if you are searching for a great value for the money (okay ;-) they are not so low priced like the Stowa Watches)

but they are excellent and very well made and it's a exclusiv Watch which is not to find on every wrist, it's a Top Watch. :-!

i hope this Mini Review was helpful a little, and please exceuse my mistakes in English writing

best regards

Andreas

A beautiful watch Andreas, great pics and you covered all I need in a review.
I'd only ask how's the accuracy? Being a Schauer I suspect it's very good.
Thanks for posting!

I'd only ask how's the accuracy?

of course it's planned, but it needs very much Time for me :-D
but until now no big deviation was detected by me

Andreas, I like that a lot. I have been looking at the Shortstop.
Way to go, great review too.
Beautiful pics, show the quality of the watch.
