I would like some opinions on these Gevril ana digi watches. What are they worth?
Thanks

I'd pass on these if I were you. Seiko, Citizen - even Accutron - make a much better product than Gevril ever will, especially in this sector of the market.

I see that the dial says certified chronometer.. Is there such a thing as a chronometer standard for quartz? if so what is it?

Well it actually says "Chronotimer" which is the kind of thing the Chinese watch factories come up with :-d Doubt if this is Swiss made or a limited edition of 500 pieces as claimed by seller - prob all BS.
Anyway - I like the big clean design with the big pushers. Seiko and friends don't make anything that looks this 'solid' .
Any ideas for something similar looking and better quality??

When did you last look at the Seikos out there? ;-) 'Solid' hardly begins to describe some of them.

Come on gents - any ideas for similar looking watches - and don't get clever and say Breitling B1......
I want stainless steel, and I want the big digits in the digital display - most seem to have silly little ones that looks like its out of a Casio from 1970.

While there is no Chronotimer certification like the watch claims (this is a junk watch), there is a COSC Quartz Chronometer standard. By far it is the toughest timing standard of any of the certifying agencies. Only a HEQ watch has any hope of meeting it. I believe all of the Breitling Ana-Digital watches are so certified.
Check the COSC website (http://www.cosc.ch/) for details.

I'd go for one of the Orient Ana-Digis any day over a Gevril:
