Im looking for a watch that displays digital time, syncs itself (worldwide) with atomic time, and is metal banded so it looks very nice on the wrist. Thanks alot :)

The Citizen Skyhawk AT is the first that comes to mind ...
See several models HERE (http://www.princetonwatches.com/shop/skyhawk.asp).
The Skyhawk AT displays both digital and analog time.
If you want an all-digital watch, any one of the Casio Pathfinders with metal bracelet and Atomic/Solar features should fit the bill.
My favorite Pathfinder is the PAW1300T-7V which is on a Titanium band. See it HERE (http://www.casiosalesandservice.com/istar.asp?a=6&id=PAW1300T-7V!Casio&csurl=%2Fistar%2Easp%3Fa%3D3%26dept%3DWATCH%26clas s%3DPTHFDR%26pos%3D0%26numperpage%3D10%26sortby%3D PRICEDESC%26).
Looking forward to hearing back from you to see if these are what you are looking for, or if you are onto something else?

Depends on what type of watch you are looking for and how much you want to spend? $200 range - PAW's - $300 + then the Skyhawks.
An analogue watch style or a digital one? What types of situations are you going to be wearing it to? What other functions matter? They both have a stop watch, but the Skyhawk only has a 99 minute countdown timer while the PAW1300 has a 24 hour one - 1500 has a 60 minute one. I like the ABC functions of the PAW a lot, but I prefer the looks of the Skyhawk A-T. If you get the Skyhawk, recommend that you get an screen guard for the crystal as I have read that many have scratched them.
I have a PAW1300T and a Skyhawk A-T in titanium.
I have worn the PAW to a friends wedding and I did not feel out of place with it on, but I am the jeans and T-shirt type.
The PAW has a much lower profile than the Skyhawk as well so it will fit underneath your sleeves of your dress shirt.
If you are looking for something more sporty looking, you can try the PAW1500T as well.
Good luck and keep us informed on which one you choose and please post pictures.

I totally agree with Gaijin's recommendation.
Here's my Japan version Skyhawk hardened with DLC(diamond like carbon).

Amazing replies guys :) Thanks alot
The JR3000-51F (http://www.princetonwatches.com/shop/JR3000-51F.asp) looks like a very nice watch. Also the JR3080-51L (http://www.princetonwatches.com/shop/JR3080-51L.asp) .
Those are the type of watches im looking for. Something mixed between a iced out watch and a nerd's watch :)
Im also looking for something a bit lowered price. I understand that this is a serious forum with serious watches but Im looking for a bit lower priced.
Some points:
- I dont care much about analog although analog/digital is nice but it MUST have digital at all times
- It has to be able to sync atomic times worldwide
- Waterproof
- Has to have a metal band.
- Nightlight/Glow in the dark
Other than that, I really dont care much. I imagine that if its digital itll have a stopwatch and other basic digital features.
A feature that would be nice but not required at all would be temperate. Price range lets leave it at $100-$200.

Hello,
Neither of the Skyhawks that you refer to the JR3000-51F or the HR3080-51L do not have atomic sync.
For your price range I would recommend that PAW-1300. If you post an add looking for one you might find one in your price range. The Skyhawk A-T appears to be out of your price range at the moment. You can check out a couple of G-Shocks.
The ones that come to mind are: GW5600BCJ-1, GW600DA-1VMT G900DA-8V, etc. Of note the ion plating on the bands of the black G Shock can be scratched which will expose the metal underneath.

for me it sounds like the PAW-1300 with titanium bracelet is the perfect choice. the PAW-1500 would also fit, but I had a chance two days back to see this watch the first time in the flesh and compared to the 1300 display the 1500 looks cluttered and - far worse - simply cheap.
in case you should purchase a PAW-1300 just make sure its barometer works thermocompensated (that goes for ALL ABC watches). this seems to be a not so unusal problem with this series. if its not thermocompensated the barometer and therefore the altimeter will be pretty useless. other than that it is a great watch and I'm sure you would like it alot.

again thanks for the suggestions :)
Well those Casios look nice. They look great. I just dont want to be a nerd watch...I want people to see it shine like a fashion watch but have the features of a nerd watch. I want it to be silver steel/chrome/etc so it can stand out (the band). Thats the trouble Im finding with finding the perfect watch.

There is another possibility that I juggled today:
Is it possible to switch the band on most watches? In this case I would actually search for the watch I want with the features I want and then switch the band afterwards. Is this difficult?

It looks like on alot of them you can switch the strap, but not sure.
The main one I like is the Mega 1000, im not sure if you can change straps on that, but iv seen it come with a rubber strap and with steel, so who knows.

The Junghans mega 1000, it seems like the flagship watch for them.

I think its a re-make model, their first mega model may have bin the first atomic wristwatch, I think I remember reading that months ago but not sure.
Im also trying to find a good atomic, its frustrating, im so picky and there is only so many digital atomics,,,,,,,,,,,,,,because of the price of the mega I think I may get something from the wave ceptor series (Casio)

I would like to second on the waveceptor recommendation, but as far as finding something fasion and nerd, isn`t that a contridiction. The Casio`s may not look like an Icetek but they do look, business fashionable, and do work with just about all attire.
If you are going to use this as your only watch it may be better to get the atomic that you really want and get something a little less fasionable.
Also, the pictures really do not present the Casio`s properly and all techies have, at least one, solar powered watches.

That looks like it has some nice heft to it. Not much crystal protection though.
