Ron,
As per usual stunning pic, but now im going to have to ask, i know that you were your B1 as much as your Evo but how the heck do you keep it looking unused. I baby all mine but never seem to get them that clean looking, and i polish for hours whilst reading a book.

Awesome pics, Ron, for these B-1's ! :-!
BTW, may I add my voice to Lou's answer : how do you keep'em mint-glossy ?
Or is it a software trick ?
Cheers,
Brice

Lou, this might make some people shudder, but I've found washing my watches gets them spick and span more efficently than polishing. Taking all necessary cautions of course.

Hi, Guys. Thanks for the comments. :thanks Actually, the B-1 is indeed my daily wearer and it certainly takes its share of knocks. As Verner indicates, mild soap, lukewarm water and a soft toothbrush followed by a cool water rinse works quite well for cleaning. I dry it with a lint free cloth and hit it with the little polishing cloth Breitling sends with a purchase. If the case scratches and swirlies are bad enough, I'll mask the crystal and drag out the Cape Cod polishing cloth but I don't do that very often at all. The secret to the observability of the flaws being minimized in a pic is to use diffused natural light for the shot. The shots often appear a bit dark until lightened by editing before posting but because the exposure was made not using pure natural light (sun outdoors) or a light box the imperfections simply do not pop out in the pic. The original full size pic in high resolution shows lint and spots extemely well but even at high res the metal imperfections are still muted by having utilized the diffused (by an old cloth diaper) natural light. Here is another B-1 shot to help illustrate. I promise if you blow this pic up in size and sharpen it you'll see some scratches... ;-) :-d
Cheers,
Ron
