The Airbus A380 did only its second UK air display at the Goodwood Festival of Speed motorsport event this weekend and I grabbed some pics.

The pics where its nose is at a high angle (is angle of attack the right phrase?) was a slow pass where, according to the commentary is was down to 96knots. Such a huge beast flying past so slowing was just weird. I mean, i know all that stuff about the air going over the wing moving quicker than the air under the wing, but at that speed it's hard to believe there's no witchcraft involved at some point in the process!!

Anyway, hope you like.

Very nice pictures, thanks for sharing. I took it for the first time 2 weeks ago from Singapore to Tokyo. It's a piece of marvelleous engineering. That steel bird is very quite in comparison to other machines

I am looking forward to check out the quiet-factor when the 380 will start flying out of Frankfurt (EDDF/FRA). ;-)

That is a Beautiul aircraft....even if the build quality is questionable...
