Question: What is the comonality of the Twin Sixty Navtimer?
Reason, I picked one up about a year ago on a swap, love the watch but never hear too much about it.

Unfriendly bunch
1) i don't understand the question.
2) perhaps no one knew the answer even if they did understand the question.
3) i don't think we are an unfriendly bunch. far from it. most people will help where they can. your comment is therefore without justification, IMO. you would have been better off simply bumping your post to get a bit more attention.
PS: a quick web search revealed these ...

Unfriendly bunchThanks. Before expressing yourself so eloquently, you could have used the "search this forum" function  and found many links :-) to previous threads including this one... http://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=13479&highlight=twin+sixty+navitimer You're welcome. :-|

BTW, I found a nice shot of your roll-x subby on another unfriendly site. Quite a beauty... :-!

Hey guy, sometimes we just don't have time to check in. People do get busy.
Here's a shot of my Twin60.
There were 2 version the 4 dial and for a short pd of time there was a 3 dial. I prefer the 4 dial, and never cared for the 3 Dial. Both models are fairly hard to come by and have held up value wise very nicely. The movement has been very accurate and dependable, I've had mine since 1997, it has been serviced once
Don't get rid of it unless the price is too good.

Nice Sub, Ron! I saw a really nice s/s one at Big 5 sporting goods near the Hummer watches and thirst quenching gum at the checkout counter.

Thank you EJC, as I found the information at Breitling Source less than helpful, and my AD was not very knowledgable either. I have the 4 dial and enjoy the complication of it, but as I said in my post I have not heard many people talk about it on any of the forums, and outside the Tec Spec at Breitling Source, that was all I was able to find. I did not think it was a common piece.
No offense to the friendliness of the members, usually when a post is read but not answered, well, a liitle spurring on never hurts. Besides guys, you can't honestly say someone didn't understand the question.
Thanks again EJC

to be fair not too many of us know much about the twin sixty so the lack of responses kinda of answered the question.
i am not a big fan of it aesthetically but if i was and had one i wouldnt sell it
