I would send it t BUSA, they havethe parts. ealer would have to do the same whihc just increases wait time.
Sorry to hear this happened. If it makes you feel better, I have an Omega Seamaster that belonged to my father-in-law. I put it in for a full service, the first thing I did when I got it back was to drop it on a tile floor. Back in for service.

Thanks
I think I will send it to BUSA. I called my closest dealer in Bakersfield and they said they would just send it in to BUSA. And I would have to drive through all the Cow fields to get to the jeweler!!!
Damn I am sick. I have had it for 5 days. I slept with it for 3 days (it was in the box)

Sad stories...
That's why I do prefer deployant buckle to ordinary buckle.

So, any news on your Breitling yet?
Same thing happened to me this morning with my Breitling Emergency  o| o| o| o| o| o| o| o| o| o| o| o| o| o| o| o| o| o| o| o| o| o| o| o| o|
Approximately 4 feet and wooden floor!
Will take it to my AD on Saturday and they will probably mail it to Breitling.
Both displays have lost most but not all of their numbers, some partially. The rest is blinking. I cannot believe it!!!

:-(
May I renew my advice : deployant buckle is handsome AND useful...

Well, I also love the looks (and safety) of the deployant clasp better than tang/buckle but I don't care for the way the strap assumes a "set" crease where it folds through the clasp, seemingly within a few days after its initial adjustment. On my Mom's lizard strap Callistino I find it impossible to make "micro" adjustments for her when she decides it is too tight or too loose. She is 85 now and little things seem to bother her more than in her earlier years. ;-) In addition, her lessened coordination makes a tang/buckle kit almost impossible to use when strapping a watch on her wrist. When I try to adjust the deployant for her, unless I make a very large adjustment, the strap almost immediately finds its way back to the original adjustment position. Unfortunately she doesn't like our easily "micro" adjustable bracelets because she thinks they will "pinch" and hurt her wrist. :-s  Lou's lovely Lady Tracie now wears Mom's bracelet on her Callistino. :-! BTW, ask Lou about UPS and receiving a package from the U.S. when import tax issues arise... :-|
Anyway, I learned  very early on the horrors of dropping a Navi on a tile floor while strapping it on my wrist and unfortunately missing the hole with the tang... o| :-| That was back in the early 90's and I never forgot it or the bill to repair it. From then on, always over a bed or other forgiving surface when taking a watch on or off. Havn't made the mistake twice... ;-) :-)
Cheers,
Ron

What model is this?
My wife loves it"Callistino". part of the "Windrider" model lineup. 29mm diameter, 15/14mm interhorn width, weight 24.9 gr., 100M water resistance, caliber 72 "SuperQuartz" thermocompensated movement, discontinued after the 2005 model year but some AD's may still have NOS (New Old Stock) available. Often available on the famous auction site pre-owned and in excellent condition for very reasonable prices. Hope this helps... :-)
Cheers,
Ron

Update -> the initial quote was 14 weeks for the repair, which is the replacement of the movement plus some other minor things. Got a call last Thursday that the watch is ready. So, I picked up on Saturday, looks like new :thanks :-! :-) cost was € 520,--

Glad it's back safe.
I'm guessing it will get the kid glove treatment from now on.

Believe me I am glad to have it back and especially that it did not take the 14 weeks, but less than a month since I dropped it off. Yes, it will get the kid glove treatment - to be honest it already did before, except for that fateful one time when it fell. Despite its dimensions I always treated it with the most care. If I go biking or do any other sports I usually wear either the Colt Superocean or the GMT. They are just less delicate  :-)
The Emergency I mainly wear when I travel, ok I bought it when I used to sail but that's about the most danger I exposed it to ;-)
