That's an impressive list of features to be sure. Isn't the manual for this watch several hundred pages? I tried on a similarly sized Pro Trek recently, and it just didn't work on my sub 7" wrist. Though I wouldn't mind having one strapped to my pack if I was on a serious excursion is the outdoors. :-d

Hey Gabe.....I'm a tad under 7" myself (the wrist, that is:oops:) and I gotta tell you, if you can pull off the U-1 or 750T (both of which I've owned|>), this baby is a piece of cake.:-p

In some ways, I find casio's to be kind of like the Subaru's of the ABC world. Incredibly competent and well loved by those who like them, but the generally juvenile styling just doesn't fly with everybody. I really want to love most G's and pro-trek's, but I just can't get past the styling. I really wish that casio would make a line with all the technical ability and none of the "surface excitement". I would be all over that.

I have a similar feeling towards the Suuntos...they impress the hell out of me (other than their battery useage and wr) and I understand that many of their functions are more accurate than the Casios', but the styling looks cheesy to me. I've seen many of them in the field pretty banged up, and all I can say is all those smooth surfaces don't wear WABI wello|

if you already wouldn't have typed this, I had. couldn't agree more about the suuntos: functionwise very good and impressive watches, but when it comes down to their looks*, oh boy......

I was taking some flak from the other Scout leaders yesterday and today about my "gadget watch" (Nike Oregon). Of those that were wearing a watch (and not using their cell to tell time o| and cell service at the camp is notoriously unreliable), there were a couple of Wal-Mart Casio look alikes, and an Ironman or two. Let 'em laugh, we know better :-!

Cheers,
Griff
