I don't know much about wine. I just drink them for health. Here is the wine of my dinner. It is very cheap (5 USD:-d) but dealicious. The speedy is 3570.40.
What wine do you drink?

I'm gonna have to go with Neil on this one......................
VO, slash of water and lots of ice.
I can't tell the difference between a $250 bottle of fine wine and
the stuff that comes in the cardboard box.
Good whiskey (or bad) is a different story.

Ahhh, but if you'll notice, Neil spelled it whisky instead of whiskey, which makes it Scotch. I'm with you on the VO, Jim. Never aquired much of a taste for Scotch.

Wine is really most of what I drink and there are many wonderful bottles for under $20 out there these days. Like the heftier reds most of all. Aussie Syrahs are tasty, as well some of the Chilean and Spanish wines. Living in California, we also have some great local vineyards. Just brought back a nice selection from a small winery on our central coast.
But for sheer pleasure:

Could've bought a case of expensive scotch or whiskey with this, but it was real treat.
We had a local restaurant prepare a custom menu around it and took one of our best clients out to dinner.

Not a wine drinker, but an old rum goes down very well.
This a very good one: Havana Club 7 years old. From Cuba, so I don't know if it is available in the US...
The age for cuban rum compares to double the age for whiskey, so 7 year old rum is as having a 14 year old whiskey.
