I have a titanium Citizen Eco-Drive that is about 9 years old that won't hold a charge anymore. It will run when in direct light, but after sitting in a window all day it will stop as soon as it is moved away from direct light. Is this an obvious problem and does anyone know approximately what it should cost to repair? Do I need to send it to Citizen or should I take it to a local watchmaker? Thanks.

Ecos use batteries or capacitors depending on the model - If you call your local watch repairers and ask if they specialise in Citizen or have handled repairs to Ecos you should have no trouble as replacement of these parts isn't a big job
Just pick a repairer who knows them
If it's a battery version ask if there's been an upgrade in batteries to suit your model as you might be able to reduce the inicdence of battery failure
