I do not know the owner/seller but this is posted on the SC of TZ.

Man I'm tempted...The problem is I'd be afraid to wear it fearing I'd mark it.

Damn good price too. I'd bite if I wasn't broke. It would look good
on you Skip!

The seller is golden but I'm just not crazy about wiring $2500 USD to Hong Kong or anywhere for that matter

+1
$2500 is more than I'm willing to gamble with. Even if the odds are good.

He doesn't know it's supposed to have the 911 calibre and not the 910.
No picture of the movement or year of manufacture. Could be 145.026 or 145.036.
No pictures of the caseback with the aeroplane.
Price sounds good, but I would want a lot more information before I bite.

Wearing my 911 today. Never afraid to wear it! :-)

That's what his appears to be. Price is good, but I'd want to see movement and caseback pix.
Also ask him for references. I bought mine from a TZ seller in Canada and even though same restrictive payment options (which is why I probably got it) he was prompt with pix.

Good time to post a picture of mine I suppose, all original 145.036:

I think it's quite possibly my all-time favorite vintage Omega.

True, but I remember reading lots of references for this seller (at one time he had 4000+ posts count, and I was considering a Speedy from him). I think it was on Watchnet.com (check the "Good Guys" section).

I was #1 in line until I read this. He has a paypal account but will not accept it even if I pay 3% ( I wnt to protect myself) plus he never could confirm that he would hold it long enough for me to buy it....he was chomping at the bit to make a local sell even if I had dibs....the whole situation said go away
