Breitling has a dedicated division of its business that does all of the work to bring its production to COSC standard. Last year they submitted some 222,000+ movements for chronometer certification. Its my understanding that's 100% of their out put from the facility. They are the third largest by volume after Rolex and Omega to do so. What they do to a movement to bring it to COSC standard is not something I'm privileged to. Needless its a relentless effort in quality control and refinement of component specification. Rest assured that its not just a matter of a little tweak here and there and a dab or two of extra oil.
