It seems that 2254.50s are arriving almost daily to forum members.

Here's mine that came as a gift last Christmas:

So now, post a photo of yours.

Let's see how long a thread we can make.

Did you switch the dial back? I liked the other dial with the applied logo and markers better

No, that was a "before" photo in stock 2254.50 configuration.

Here's an "after":

WHat a pic! :-p:-p:-p:-p It's photos like these, Fr. John, that make decisions so "hard" for some of us contemplating more than one model. I had thought my mind was settled on either a Speedy Pro, or 42mm PO (with the 2254, although a little cheaper, a distant third) but I find myself seriously now reconsidering the 2254.

And from what I gather of its numerous devotees here on the Omega forum, it's pretty much regarded as a classic and right up there with the PO as far as Omega dive watches go.

Possibly, for someone on a tight budget, a better introduction into Omega dive offerings? Who knows... :-s

Thanks for the great pics to all who have shared. :-! Oh my...bczolone may have pushed me over the edge...Gorgeous pics that really do the watch justice.

Cheers,
JAred

Agreed! The more I look at it, the more I like it. I keep saying to myself Christmas ain't far!
(Thanksgiving is for my Speedy pro!!!)

Somehow I like this one better than the blue/bond version. I don't know why people prefer the bond version over this!

great thread and just what the doctor orderred. in fact, i've just orderred one and was having doubts as (to me) it's such a lot of money to spend on a watch, but seeing these has put my mind at rest. |>

will post pics when it arrives.

ps. going back the beginning, are the applied markers and logo an option when buying, or are these a modification afterwards?

Congratulations, Andrew! I am excited for you.

As to the applied markers, that requires replacing the stock dial with the dial for the "non-America's Cup" model.

Looks like this thread took a rest for a few months? --- meanwhile I joined the 2254 'club'

This is my second Omega (also have a Speedy 3572.50) - but I most always find myself with the 2254 on - it's just comfortable, distinctive and...whatever. I bought it new - and will alway have it....
