Does the Helium Release valve ever catch on your dress shirt sleeve and keep the sleeve from extending to your wrist??

sorry... don't wear shirt sleeves. Haven't seen it mentioned as an issue before, and many watches share this case and crown configuration.

You think that's bad? You should try Breitling. They destroy your shirts/sweaters

I have never had any trouble with the helium relief valve catching on my shirt sleeves, but it does seem very unneccesary for most.

It's not often I'm in a dress shirt while cooped up for a few days in the decomp chamber;-) but the other day I was looking forward to my release and got all spammed up in the Tux ready for the out, I must say it did not apppear to cause any problems with the cuffs (french cuffs, naturellement);-):-d
In short no, but the above post about Breitlings is true<| deffo for short sleeves those BBW's (big bad watches of course)

Bond Seamaster 2531 for nine years. Wearing a suit to work for seven years. No problems.
And yeah, the rider tabs on some Breitlings have a slight gap between the tab and the bezel. If a loose thread gets caught in there, then the shirt cuff will always come off second best.

This is very true!!! For the PO XL
When I wear shirts with regular buttons, one side of the watch will end up most of the time on top of my shirt and grind it all day!!! Because I cant put it under the shirt. It's too thick. Ive ruined 5 shirts since I bought it... :-(
But when I wear french cuffs, it's all good, the shirt remains over the watch since theyre looser on the wrist.
It's the caseback where you have to put the tool that grinds it all day. It's actually pretty sharp, when you run your finger across it, you can feel how sharp it is.
No problem tho with the helium valve...

No problems at all.
Another question I'd love to ask is, has anyone ever USED their He valve?

I've only inhaled helium.
I've never had any watch catch on my sleeves, including my large PO.

That would be a no. The HE valve does not extend beyond the side of the case relative to where the sleeve hits the watch. Plus the valve is not as thick as the watch and the bezel/crystal it higher off the wrist than the HE valve.
No worries - the watch fits perfectly under a shirt sleeve.

I have worn the 2254 on two occasions with suits and have not had this issue. Infact, I feel it could be slightly larger.
