...Cape Cod, and thank them for their polishing cloths. :-!

Just gave my Super Avenger a going over before attending a wedding, (not mine) this weekend, and i'm astounded at the results. I have done just the clasp before, - to remove light "swirlies" but this time did the whole watch,- even though i didn't think it needed it, - and WOW!!! Superb results, looks like new.

Sorry if this sounds like an ad for the above metioned polishing cloths,- just thought i could give praise where praise is due. Plus, you all know about them already anyway.

Nick.

Nick,
Im a real cape cod guy... Even lived there for twenty something years. As far as the cloths go, I use them regularly getting perfect results... BUT there seems to be a new trend in town. Sunshine cloths.. I have heard from other polishing geeks that they are actually better then the cods. Could this be really true?????

Cheers,
pete the polishing geek!

We've been discussing the Sunshines on the other forum, and at this point I cant really say which is better. The sunshine cloths are most definitely easier to use and cleaner since they arent soaked in any polish or anything. I get the impression that they are just those gold jewelry cloths that remove the tarnish and turn black when you use them. They certainly shined up the B, but im not sure they removed any scratches. Next time ill bust out the cape cods and see whats up.
