Hello,
I am trying to gather some info on this Tavannes watch.
Do you have any idea when it was made and possible current value?
Thank you

Tavannes is better known under the name Cyma. They made their own movements but this one will have a high class generic movement (Venus, Valjoux or Landeron) since Cyma didn't make chronograph movements. The style indicates anything from late thirties to early fifties. A movement shot to look at details would help age it.

I have one TAVANNES in a pocket watch. The movement is espectacular, very very nice. Saboneta double in 18k gold.

Very nice, both of them. The wrist watch shows the typical Cyma shockproofing on the balance - akin to the Breguet "parechute" shock proofing. The movement is something of the Cyma 162K series - a link to one with a central second adaptation is here:

I like the look of the dial on that chrono.Nice.

Here's mine "Tavanes 3." pocket watch(needs a new balance wheel and service):

I really like Tavannes/CYMA but they don't get a lot of attention. Their volumes must have been less than Bulova, Omega, etc

I don't know their pocket watches, but I usually consider the wristwatches as desirable as Bulova .. maybe a smidge more desirable
