My Tacticians EL light wasn't too bright any more, so it needed a fresh battery.
First I had to open the bracelet. You need the pin side of the springbar tool to fold the bracelet open. Be carefull, the springbar might jump away.

The watchback is much smaller than a regular G-Shock screwback, so you need to adjust the screwback tool a bit for a perfect fit.

When the back is off, you need to remove that metal thing and the rubber back protector.

You need sharp point tweezers (or a needle) to open the battery clasp.

Put the point there (other but similar battery clasp)

That's a suprise! It has a CR1616 battery. Most G-Shock models use the CR2016 model.

Batteries are kept apart for chemical waste collecting.

Use plastic tweezers to put in the new CR1616 battery.

Connect the AC contact with the top of the battery to reset the watch with sharp point tweezers or other metal objects (fold out staples or paperclips will work too).

Use a little bit of silicon based lubricant for the rubber seal, to keep it fresh and waterproof.

Put everything back in place and turn the back on again. Now it's time to test if everything went fine. Check if the alarm and EL backlight is working.

Find a nice reference timepiece to adjust the time.

I love it when everything is working smoothly again;-)
