Hey guys,

Ive been lurking for a couple weeks and finally decided to sign up. For my first post I was wondering if someone could help me out and id this watch for me.

those are the only two pictures i have so far.

Also, are there any specific ways to tell if it is in fact authentic?

Thanks!

Hello,
Welcome to our forum.

Look, given the quality of the images and lighting its very difficult to say what you have there. My impression it that this is a genuine watch but I'm only like 30% sure. Take a look at the thread at the head of our forum "The Watchface Thread" and check out some of the faces there. I'm sure you will have more success comparing that way then attempting to get us to verify what you can see with your own eyes. If you can take images more in keeping with that thread then we can help. My monitor is a high def 22 inch beauty. Your images are about 2% of the screen if that. You want to upload and post .jpg images sized to about 640x480 and between ~150 to 250Kb in size for best results.

Thanks MarkJNK for the lend of your beaut image!

Do you have the watch in hand. If so what is the model number on the back, it should start with a capital A??????? and what is the serial number? Oh and what are they asking for this watch... like +$4KUSD?

I would be pretty hesitant on something that expensive with such terrible pictures.

good catch on the Crown.
Unless I'm mistaken, that looks like an Avenger style crown. (pic is not good)

I think the same about the crown Elliot.

It's a fake for sure.

Hi Stef , Just joined the forum last week lot of interesting subjects.

I noticed that you are a Breitling fanatic like my self you have a nice collection there. I was in your area this week to collect my yellow emergency whic i purchased from Parkhouse in the centre of that nice city of yours. Found the staff most helpful , still getting to grips with setting the digital second time zone but getting there.

Regards RICH B

Rich,

I've switched to Parkhouse, as you say, very friendly staff and they are prepared to haggle too!

I'm convinced that SnapIT has been into the bottle a bit today.

OP, the crown is indeed a dead giveaway. It's a SuperAvenger crown on a Bentley. Absolute dead giveaway. Worth= $10USD

Does a good teacher always answer all the questions exactly as the student would like to hear the answer or is it better to leave little cracks so that initiative and attention to detail allows the student to arrive at the correct conclusion regardless of what information is available? Hmmm grasshopper? :-) And it was a particularly fine bottle of Penfolds Koonunga Hill Cabernet Merlot that was my muse, but last week end, not last night. I might visit that vintage again some time soon but not during the working week.
