I set out to create a custom strap for the G-shock, without resorting to adapters and zulu straps. The result is a one-piece top and one-piece bottom, with one long hand-stitch holding it together. I'd be keeping it for myself if I didn't miscalculate the length!
Please forgive me if I have trouble explaining it - it's not like any other watch strap out there, and I'll do my best to describe every measurement! Ask me if you have any questions, I'll be happy to measure anything.
Measurements:
220mm long (tip to tip - without buckle), and ~168mm to the first hole. Add a buckle, and you're looking at about 7" on the tightest setting. The strap is ~26mm at its widest point in the center, and tapers to 19mm (standard DW5600) at the tips and buckle. The connection at the "lugs" is 14-15mm, to fit a G-Shock DW5600 and designed for its recessed pin placement.
This was designed with a G-Shock DW5600 as a model, so the lugs will be very small compared to other watches. (If you're interested in me creating a strap specifically for your watch and specs, I'd be more than happy to, just PM me.) |>
I have never seen anything like this, and although it's my first attempt at this kind of strap, I am very proud of my craftsmanship - I do not think you'll be disappointed in this unique strap! I am not including a buckle, but it will work with any 19mm or 20mm buckles).
