Hi Ron, I just looked at your slide show again. I don't see a wrist shot of the B-1 w/UTC. From the pic above, it looks like the UTC module would wear right on the radius and may be uncomfortable. Did it take some getting used to, or was it unoticable to wear right away? Not that I'd ever own any of this quartz junk, just curious. Cheers, Bob

Cheers, BobI mentioned this to Gav and Cinq a few days after I got the UTC. I am very surprised at how comfortable it is on the wrist. I somewhat expected to feel and notice the underside of the UTC because it doesn't have the "breakover" of the links which are there with the normal 877A bracelet. I was actually prepared for it to be uncomfortable as you suggest. Not the case at all. Other than staring at it because it is so darn unusual and attractive, I don't notice it at all. With respect to you and all my mechanical "B's" , it is possibly the most comfortable watch/bracelet combination I have. I had also expected the "bump" in the middle of the turbine blade caseback of the B-1 to be annoying as well and that is not the case either. With the UTC, I wear the B-1 almost 24/7 these days. Heck, I'm wearing out all the black golf and T shirts I have because of this darn watch! I also like the position of the UTC on the wrist for quick glance viewing. Saves any effort of rotating my wrist to admire the configuration. LOL. In fact, I am so enamored with the comfort and "Breitling Look" of the UTC module that you will soon see pics of another on my two tone Crosswind. :-)
Cheers,
Ron

Thanks for the info Ron. I always thought the UTC was a bit much for my conservative tastes :-) , but after seeing it a thousand times it is starting to grow on me. Curious as to how it would look on my B-2. Nah, put a quartz module on a fine mechanical instrument? Geez, that'd be like taking a sandwich to a banquet. Cheers, Bob

Spare me. The dial of your B-2 is calling you a prevaricator. :-D BTW, hopefully this week or early next I'll be taking a quartz UTC sandwich to a mechanical Crosswind banquet. Would you like an invitation or do you intend to stay home and sulk? Hahahahahahahahaha!!! :-D
Cheers,
Ron

Thanks for the pic, they are works of art. Love the glass back. I now have two options:
1) Wear my watch inside out so everyone can appreciate the glory.
2) Have a glass wrist installed for the same effect.
Or else it could just remain my glorious, dirty, unguilty, precious secret, for me to enjoy as and when I like and for all my colleagues to only dream about. Mwah ha ha ha ha (that's a scary laugh in case you didn't realise)
