Hi there,
I have a vintage ladies Bucherer watch that I cant seem to get any information on, i've contacted Bucherer and they dont have anything on watches over 20 years old.

I'm just trying to find out information like:
Age
Is the casing gold or gold plated
Approx. value

If you take the back off, and post a pic both of the movement and the inside of the caseback, it will be much easier to answer your questions.
I would guess a watch from the 1970ies. If it has a battery inside, it is a Quartz movement.
Re: gold/goldplated, it usually tells you which it is in the back.
18K = 18 carat gold
14K = 14 carat gold etc.
Plaque = plated

At best it's 14K, value - syntimental. If 14K, spot price for the Gold.

Agree with Janne's comments about the 1970s. It's hard to date ladies watches from 1960 to 1980 actually. A look at the movement might help if it's mechanical.
We do not get into valuation here for reasons outlined in our sticky notes.

Well, it is an Eta/Esa movement but I don't see that exact bridge setup on Dr. Ranfft's site.

Bucherer is a large jewelry/watch store chain in Switzerland that private labels watches it buys from a number of vendors. Their vintage watches are usually great values.
