I have a splendid Omega movement for an old Ladymatic, and I would like to be able to get it re-cased. I have no idea where to look, if there are custom casers out there, or if i just have to trip over the proper case some day. am I destined to have a movement just sitting around? not the bowel type....

I assume you also have the dial and hands.
The best idea would be to check with a few local watchmakers to see if they have a case. Often they buy old watches for the parts and the case is surplus for them. You could also try Shane Ede 416-531-4201 if you are in Canada or the USA.
Alternatively contact Omega Customer Service Restorations and see what they have to say.

Third idea is to buy an old Omega that is for parts if you can find it on eBay.
