Hi All,

I was recently given my grandfather's Tissot Seastar Seven which was a retirement gift to him (the watch dates from somewhere around 1960 to 1962). I am curious: During this time period, was Tissot still a sub-brand of Omega?

Thanks!
Rick

Tissot and Omega merged in the 1930s, so yes Tissot was considered a "poor man's Omega" in 1962.

Ray, thanks. The watch is in great shape and is keeping excellent time (obviously it has some sentimental value too).
