I have had this watch for about 3 years. I found it in an old car under the seat.
I just now found this web site and was wondering if you could help Identify the year and maybe give a hint on collectability or price range.
The number 23 is under Bulova.
It does work and keeps decent time.
thanks in advance

Interesting find! I know that Bulovas aren't that expensive and ladys watches aren't that expensive either. Those kind are out of fashion right now, so I don't really know how much it would be worth. Don't be expecting over $500 though!

Hi -
Welcome to the forum, Octavious! Hope we can help you out...
Without a movement picture it's hard to tell. Ladies' watch movements are notoriously difficult to identify.
We do not do valuations here, check the sticky note at the top of the forum as to why. Simply not fair to you to do so.
Kyle L is right, though: Ladies' watches are rather completely out of fashion right now, and the value is what a buyer is willing to pay: the likelihood of getting anything for it is fairly remote. You can find lots with dozens of ladies' watches on eBay going for a pittance if you look, giving you a good idea of how difficult this market is.
Like I said, pictures of the movement would help. If it is a manual wind 23 jewel movement, that is fairly high quality, bat as I've said, we don't do valuations...

If you open up the case, and look at the movement you may find a symbol which will identify the year of manufacture. The symbol chart can be found at: http://www.mybulova.com

What hasn't been mentioned yet is that it has a solid 14K gold case.
That gold value will pretty much set the total value.

I have a bulova 23 in this exact same design. Mine is 1963. Is the whole case gold or is that a new back?

the back case has no date code so, i am guessing mine is older than that coding
i need to get the thing apart and check for the symbols
