The Habrings are probably the only manufacturer in Austria. Very interesting horology: jumping seconds, tourbillion, countdown timers...

That was the tourbillion, now the jumping seconds movement: there is an additional spring that detents into the seconds wheel, designed such that it takes 5 swings of the balance wheel to generate enough force to move the seconds hand one increment. The seconds hand is exactly positioned on the registers, unlike virtually all quartz watches: looks like a quartz, but in terms of display, more accurate...

Countdown timer using a chronograph movement: when you reset the chrono, the countdown timer returns to the pre-set time for the next count-down task. Marvelous to see in action!
