Hello all,
You guys are a wealth of knowledge and thank you for all your help identifying my random purchases.
I have a swiss pocket watch which has an unsigned dial. However, on the movement it features a unique hallmark showing a lion with a fish body with the words "DREADNOUGHT" and markings of 17 Jewels Swiss Adjusted 26471.
The case is marked as English Made of 10 Ct gold plates on the inner case and on the outer case inside it stated Moon Trade Mark A.L.D. Donaldson Watch Case Co.
Any help in identifying this pocket watch would be very much appreciated. It is not running and missing a part for the winding wheel. Need to decide if it is worth fixing.
Here are some photos.

Realize that running pocket watches often cost more to service than they would sell for... Add the cost of repair and, unless the watch has some sentimental value, it is not a positive economic proposition.

Looks like an early 20th century Swiss movement. I don't know the maker, sorry. It's a Dennison gold filled case.
Repair is going to cost more than the watch is worth and could be justified if it's a family heirloom. Otherwise not worth it, as Eeeb has already posted.

Looks like a good possibility. Thanks for your post. :-!
Update: In my text by Alan Shenton, Dreadnought was indeed listed as one of the Record brands.

Thank you for the information.
Unfortunately, the watch does not contain any of the markings. The only marking is the lion with a fish body in a circle with the words "DREADNOUGHT" in a ribbon over the image.

I should add that the new text I have by Alan Shenton shows a Record Dreadnought in a very similar Dennison case. This watch was dated 1917. So I think your watch may predate that a bit, but it probably was a Record made watch sold in the UK under the Dreadnought brand.

The case on ebay.nl is identical, so I would say yours is the same brand, just a little earlier....having Roman numerals instead of arabic

They probably came up with the name Dreadnought as a brand name since the first real English battle ship was named the Dreadnought. Here a link for info HMS Dreadnought http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dreadnought
